Problem
Musical instruments take time to learn and years to master. Anyone should be able to have the experience of creating music - whether it be percussive or melodic.
Solution
Three interactive experimental musical instruments that allow the user to create and vary the sound produced with no musical knowledge or experience.

EXPERIMENTS

Attempt to make chairs musical by adding guitar strings to the legs. Idea was that when sliding the chair backwards each leg would play a different note to form a chord.

Experiment based on work from another designer (who I will link but temporarily have forgotten his name). Creates a high pitched whistle with this whistle attached, but with three different toned whistles creates a 'cho-cho' train effect.
FINAL INSTRUMENTS

Rotary Metronome with 2 Step and 16 Stages meaning different beat patterns can be created by adding a needle or rearranging the ramps to different locations on the face.
